what exactly is joja's nightedit about?
that is a gooood question. i do not except any rules nor boundaries ... my show is on air right after the crazy ten pm show hosted by rudi wrany and ken hayakawa - that is a techno show, for everybody who doesn t know the crazy at flex every tuesday - so i like to start out faster or with kind of housy / / techy tunes ... but that is not always the case ... i do believe in music and that you can find good and bad tunes in all genres ... i might have a lack of knowledge when it comes to rock music, but maybe one day i ll find someone to play me the dope shit out of that musical corner ... however ...
i started djing in 2002 (or something?) and the records i collected at that point were mostly hiphop . but soonish i also started to dig for grime / / dubstep tunes and all different kinds of electronic music.! to me personally it is just impossible to concentrate on one style ... more or less similar to the way that i dress ... haha ... which is leading to some confusion from time to time because people just wouldn t recognize me... hhehe but i like to challenge the senses ... don t expect me to always wear high heels nor that i would always dress sneakers .. nahhh that ain t me ...
to satisfy a broad range in everything that is part of my life is what i try to do ... keep my mind and my eyes open and never stop to search for inspiration.
i do love music, architecture, fashion, actually all the different kinds of the Arts!
I njoy the variety of life and try to break a part of that down for you in my nightedit.
